Exe in Flood - Movie 2

This second video shows the view from the banks of Exe Valley Fishery this morning. During this time of year it would usually be necessary to walk to the edge of the river to see the water below. Here it is actually lapping over the bank and remember that a few hours before it was 2 feet higher!!! It has also just started raining again ....

Today I should have been guiding long time friend of Nick Hart Fly Fishing, Stuart Jebb and his mates but I think there is little chance of catching much today! Meanwhile Neils guest was also beaten by the weather when he got stuck in a flood on the way. So its blogs, Trout Fisherman features and the shop for me today!

Just a week ago today we enjoyed a fantastic open day in blistering temperatures!

  1. Unbelievable how much water is running down there - normally its about a 12ft drop to get to the water. Roll on march and a trip to the sunshine in Los Roques....
